- The Queen of the Boardwalk, a Northern Cardinal, keeping an eye on a Tennessee Warbler bopping around nearby.
- A Blue Jay with Fall colors. I have been trying to get a photo of a Blue Jay against the Fall foliage for a month, but they have been constantly on the move while gathering and hiding acorns.

- White-crowned Sparrows have a sharp look with their black-and-white noggin stripes.
- A warbler I see maybe a few times a year, an Orange-crowned Warbler. I've never seen the orange crown, but maybe one day!
- A Tufted Titmouse on a windy day.
- An American Bittern portrait. These birds are often camouflaged among the cattails.
- A Great Blue Heron coming in for a landing.
- Peregrine Falcons are not frequent visitors to the park, so it was a special treat to have this juvenile make a visit. The bird perched for a few minutes before speeding off across the lake.
